DAY 1: INTO THE WILD – GUWAHATI TO KAZIRANGA

Your adventure begins as you land at Guwahati Airport, where our cheerful local representative awaits to welcome you. From the moment you step out, the landscapes begin to transform — from bustling city to lush, green countryside as you drive towards the Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the legendary one-horned rhinoceros.

As the road winds through paddy fields, sleepy hamlets, and patches of forest, anticipation builds. You’ll arrive by late afternoon and check in to your charming jungle resort, nestled amidst the wilderness. The air is fresher here, birdsong louder, and time feels slower.

Spend the evening unwinding amidst nature — perhaps with a cup of tea and the chirping of cicadas as your soundtrack.

DAY 2: ROARS, RHINOS & RHYTHMS OF ASSAM

Wake up before the sun, as the jungle stirs to life. Today begins with an elephant-back safari, as you ride gently through the mist-laden grasslands, brushing past dew-kissed reeds while spotting deer, wild buffalo, and if lucky — the majestic rhino just a few meters away.

After breakfast, the wilderness calls again — this time on a jeep safari through a different zone of the park. The terrain changes with every turn, offering glimpses of wild elephants, swamp deer, hornbills, and a mesmerizing palette of landscapes.

Later in the afternoon, immerse yourself in the colors of Kaziranga Orchid & Biodiversity Park, a rich floral sanctuary showcasing hundreds of orchid species and indigenous plants.

As twilight descends, gather around for an evening of traditional folk performances — a rhythmic celebration of Assamese culture with music, dance, and vibrant costumes.

DAY 3: CROSSING REALMS – FROM WILD ASSAM TO HILL-KISSED NAGALAND

After breakfast, bid farewell to the rhino kingdom and set out on a scenic journey towards Nagaland, crossing through Dimapur and winding into the verdant hills of Kohima. The journey — about 6 hours — is dotted with sweeping valley views, tribal villages, and forested bends that prepare you for what lies ahead.

Upon reaching Kohima, check into your hotel and refresh. If time permits, pay a visit to the Kohima War Cemetery, a serene yet stirring memorial that honors the brave soldiers of World War II — a silent guardian of history etched into the Naga hills.

As night falls, the cool mountain air welcomes you into a new chapter of the Northeast.

Spend the day surrounded by the heritage, music, dance, and soul of Nagaland as 17 major Naga tribes come together in a dazzling display of unity and identity. Witness warriors in full regalia, bamboo stilt races, indigenous games, fierce drumming, and mesmerizing performances that feel like time travel.

Explore traditional Naga Morungs (community houses), feast on local delicacies, and shop for hand-woven shawls, wood carvings, and tribal jewelry.

It’s not just a festival — it’s a living museum, a celebration of survival, spirit, and pride.
