Day-wise Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport and meet our representative. Drive to Thimphu (approx. 1.5 hrs) through lush green valleys.
Check-in at Hotel Changangkha / Similar.
Day 02: Thimphu Full Day Sightseeing
Day 02: Thimphu Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Thimphu.
- Visit Buddha Dordenma – an enormous golden statue overlooking the valley
- Memorial Chorten
- Tashichho Dzong (outside view)
- Folk Heritage Museum
Later, explore local craft markets and shops
Day 03: Excursion to Punakha
Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Shillong
Drive to Punakha via the beautiful Dochula Pass (expect mist and lush scenery in monsoon).
- Stop at 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens at Dochula
- Visit Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)
- Tour the majestic Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers
Return to Thimphu by evening.
Day 04: Thimphu to Paro – Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, transfer to Paro.
- Stop en route at Tamchog Lhakhang and its iconic iron chain bridge
- Visit Paro Rinpung Dzong and Ta Dzong (National Museum)
Check-in at Treenz Hotel / Paro Grand / Similar. Rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 05: Excursion to Chele La Pass
Morning drive to Chele La Pass (altitude: 3,988 m), Bhutan’s highest motorable road.
- Although snow views may not be visible during monsoon, the area is surrounded by misty hills, prayer flags, and alpine vegetation
- Enjoy the serenity and scenic beauty before returning to Paro Evening free for local shopping or cafés.
Day 06: Departure from Paro Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Paro International Airport for your return flight.
